Bankrail Gateway is the productized bank rail for moving money in and out. Allocate virtual accounts, create checkout intents, dispatch outbound transfers, and receive signed callbacks — one protocol for every consumer. Use it standalone, or through the One API.
Virtual accounts
Allocate persistent accounts that receive many credits over time. One account per customer, each credit firing its own signed callback.
Checkout intents
Create a payment intent and Bankrail allocates a virtual account, returning a stable tracking ID and a token your customer carries into hosted checkout.
Outbound transfers
Move funds out to any destination account. Asynchronous by design — Bankrail accepts the request and reports the terminal settlement state by callback.
Signed callbacks
Every credit and settlement fires a signed, retryable, idempotent callback. Verify the signature, dedupe by header, and process each event exactly once.
BRR reconciliation
A Bankrail Retrieval Reference identifies one value movement end to end. For BRR-bearing instruments, every callback carries a brr you reconcile against.
